Little Known Case Law Discovery Helps Attorney Become Well Known
The Background:
Our client was an attorney with an AmLaw 200 national defense litigation firm. In his review of recent case law, he noticed an alarming trend for his clients: that even though they had anti-harassment policies and posting notices, they were still at risk from some types of harassment claims. He wanted to be known as an attorney who could help clients with this specific – and largely ignored – matter.
A More Effective Solution to a Legal Marketing Problem:
We interviewed the attorney and reviewed his notes on several of the cases. Based on our reading and discussion, we drafted a pitch offering our client as a prospective author of an article on this important trend in case law that many other attorneys were missing. We sought to put him in front of human resources decision makers and in-house counsel tasked with HR issues and policy.
Exceptional Public Reputation Management Results:
We secured a high-profile opportunity for our client to write for the Society for Human Resource Management publication, HR Executive, as well as the SHRM website where his article received significant attention.
