About Mary
Mary is responsible for the content, tone and integrity of all copy produced for Jaffe PR’s WritersForLawyers™ (WFL) service, as well as for Jaffe PR itself, and consistently transforms highly complex and nuanced source material into pieces that are engaging, informative and practical. She has extensive experience creating law firm practice group and industry descriptions, biographies and social networking profiles, website and blog content, white papers, brochures, newsletters, and ghostwritten articles for legal publications.
Most recently, Mary held in-house positions where she created messaging for both internal and external legal audiences. She was the senior marketing writer for an AmLaw 100 firm and the senior communications manager for a global financial services company’s legal department. In these roles, she did everything from managing crisis communications to crafting targeted promotional pieces.
Mary has a Bachelor of Arts in English and writing and a master’s in education. Prior to joining corporate America, Mary was a teacher and writing tutor to both young children and graduate students. This experience helped her hone her ability to tailor written pieces to meet very specific needs. And as a former educator, she firmly believes in consistently expanding her knowledge base to aid her in creating authentic communications relevant to audiences spanning a myriad of industries.
