About Mel

As the controller, Mel ensures that every aspect of Jaffe PR’s finances is managed in a timely and accurate manner.  Mel has worked in the accounting field for over 20 years, in fields including real estate, oil and gas, interior design and a law firm.  It is the numbers and getting everything to balance (to the penny) that she enjoys.  At Jaffe, Mel handles all aspects of general accounting including preparation of financial statements, accounts receivable and accounts payable, payroll and employee benefits.  Far away from the world of accounting, you can find Mel competing on her barrel horses and working with her Border Collie in her time off.
