As an Account Supervisor in Jaffe PR’s Public Reputation Group, Michelle specializes in raising the visibility of law firms through strategic media relations campaigns. While Michelle has worked with many of the industry's leading national and mid-sized law firms, she is best known for understanding firms' PR needs and making each client feel like they are her only client. Need help raising the reputation of your regional law firm to the national level? Making sure leading experts in niche practice areas get their share of voice in the crowded marketplace? Or building your law firm's media reputation when it has not established media relationships? Michelle has assisted clients with all of these tasks by taking the time to understand the firm's goals and working with each client to craft a customized media plan that will meet its vision of success. This customized approach to public reputation services has made her an invaluable part of each client’s legal marketing team.



On behalf of her law firm clients, Michelle conducts successful media relations campaigns for attorneys in practice areas ranging from financial services to environmental law, commercial litigation to capital markets. She drives media pitching, bylined article placement, and media introductions on behalf of attorneys, and most recently increased press mentions for a client by 262% over an eight-month period. She is creative and resourceful in developing new story ideas and angles to pitch on behalf of her clients, and is constantly cultivating relationships with key reporters and bloggers at the top-tier industry and trade publications her clients want to reach.

Michelle came to Jaffe PR from Edelman, a global public relations firm, where she spent several years in New York and Chicago working with law firms and professional services clients on the development and execution of public relations campaigns.

Michelle started her career as a writer/editor for Yeshiva University's communications department in New York, where she wrote news and feature stories for the university's various newspapers, magazines and newsletters. She also led business marketing efforts and special events for a children's museum in Atlanta, Ga.

A member of the Legal Marketing Association, Michelle holds a dual B.A. degree in English communications/journalism and political science from Yeshiva University. Michelle is based in New York.
