LAW FIRM PUBLIC RELATIONS R.I.P. b. 1905 - d. 2010

January 6, 2010 - As of today, Public Relations, as we know it in the legal marketing industry, is dead.

No longer an accurate description of what Jaffe PR does for law firms, we now introduce to the legal profession the more accurate term for our practice: Law Firm Public Reputation.

The Birth of Law Firm Public Reputation

Public Reputation encompasses all of the promotional work a law firm needs to do, in various combinations, to sustain a reputation and build more business.

It is the blend of marketing disciplines including advertising, media relations, face to face and social networking, optimized content, Web sites, online marketing, crisis communications, legal rankings, speaking engagements, strategic planning and brand recognition.

Building a solid law firm reputation involves more relationships with more constituents thant ever before.   A law firm’s audiences now span much wider than ever before:  prospects, clients, referral sources, laterals, employees, bloggers, journalists, rankings publishers, event organizers and more.

Goodbye Law Firm Public Relations

We mourn, just a little, the passing of the traditional public relations firm, but we know the time is right to usher in a new paradigm: Law Firm Public Reputation.

Jaffe PR's new website and rebranding look fantastic! You all have obviously put a lot of work into this. I think that the fact that you're such a forward-thinking organization consistantly makes you stand out from the crowd.

I find "public reputation" to be a very interesting term, one that more accurately defines legal PR in today's environment. Good thinking.

Jaffe's new approach to PR demonstrates their progressive, forward-thinking, and fully integrated philosophy. All things that definitely reinforce not only why we do business with Jaffe, but why we trust them with our success.
