Lisa Altman, Senior Vice President, Public Relations, will be speaking at the NVTC Capital Cybersecurity Summit on November 15 at 2:45 p.m. EST. The summit is produced by the Northern Virginia Technology Council, which represents a diverse and thriving technology ecosystem; promotes innovation; and convenes, educates and advocates for the Greater Washington region's technology community.
Lisa will be part of a panel discussion titled "The Life of a Hack: A Business Survival Guide." The discussion will provide oversight on the lifecycle of a breach, explore what to expect in the instance of a hack, and cover what a company's responsibilities are in the event of a hack. The panel will also review the key things to know after a breach, including how insurance responds to repair a company's reputation, prevent further exposure and protect a company's bottom line.
The panel will be moderated by David Schafer, President and CEO, AHT, and will include speakers Ken Bailey, CISO, Fortalice; Veronica Jackson, Attorney, Miles & Stockbridge; and Tim Marlin, Senior Managing Director of Cyber & Professional Liability, The Hartford.
