Jaffe, the legal industry’s full-service marketing, PR and branding agency, is pleased to announce that Bethany Early has rejoined the agency as a Vice President of Public Relations. Bethany, who initially joined Jaffe as an Account Executive in January 2015, is based in Washington, D.C., and will serve law firm and legal industry clients nationwide.
“We could not be happier to welcome Bethany back to the Jaffe team,” said Vivian Hood, CEO and head of the agency’s public relations division. “She is an incredibly talented publicist and an invaluable asset to our company. Because she’s already familiar with our unique virtual environment and approach to client service, our clients will benefit from her skills immediately.”
During her prior time at Jaffe, Bethany was recognized by PR News as part of its “Rising PR Stars 30 & Under” honor. In 2016, she left Jaffe to fill the role of marketing content manager at Steptoe & Johnson LLP in Washington, D.C. She served in that position until she rejoined Jaffe in September of this year.
“I thrive on Jaffe’s diverse range of clients and projects, which can span from finding creative ways to announce an office opening to developing a crisis communications response plan. That comprehensiveness is a welcome and stimulating challenge that I embrace,” Bethany said. “I also missed Jaffe’s unique virtual environment and lifestyle culture, which puts an emphasis on work-life balance.”
Bethany has nearly five years of in-house legal marketing experience, split between two esteemed firms – one Am Law 100 and one Am Law 200. Her in-house responsibilities included managing media relations, internal communications, and a variety of related marcom and business development initiatives. Bethany’s background in legal communications and marketing provides her with an intuitively strategic thought process that serves as the foundation for every project and client consultation. She draws on this intuition to develop thoughtful, creative communications solutions that ease clients’ marketing concerns so they can spend more time focusing on their own business and practice. Bethany has generated countless high-profile media engagements for clients in helping them build and reinforce their brands with target audiences.
Bethany earned her BS, summa cum laude, in public relations from Kent State University.
