She came to Jaffe with 13 years of in-house legal marketing experience at two of the top 10 AmLaw 100 firms, giving her a unique and valuable perspective about how to partner with attorneys and marketing departments. Knowing the intense demands that in-house teams face, she is able to provide solutions and advice related to using public relations and communications to promote global brand awareness for businesses in professional services.
Throughout her career, Rachel has handled numerous types of projects, including content development, media relations, internal communications, awards and recognition programs, thought leadership pieces, and social media. She has demonstrated time and again the ability to distill complex content into clear, concise and engaging communications that work throughout traditional and digital channels. Rachel understands that public relations is an effective tool to raise the profiles of professional services firms and business professionals, but only when strategically aligned with a firm’s core messaging and values.
Located in the Washington, D.C., metro area, Rachel thrives in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and can easily manage multiple projects simultaneously, all while keeping a calm demeanor. She brings creative ideas to the table, coupled with an exceptional attention to detail.
Rachel embraces the “work hard, play hard” motto as she balances her career and family life. She uses her organizational skills not only on the job but also at home, juggling extracurricular activities for her young daughter and son, social engagements with friends, school and neighborhood events, and time with her husband. Rachel loves spending time outdoors, exploring new places and exposing her children to new experiences. Having grown up in Florida and attended college in Tennessee, she has a particular fondness for the South and its culture.
