Professionally Speaking

As one of the owners of Jaffe, Vivian balances her responsibilities between managing the agency’s esteemed public relations team, providing our clients with high-level and strategic PR advice and account leadership, and directing client teams that execute and implement successful media relations programs. She also provides guidance on the impact of evolving transformations happening in the PR industry. Recognized among Lawdragon's "100 Global Leaders in Legal Strategy & Consulting," Vivian delivers critical counsel surrounding high-profile litigation, sensitive matters and crisis communications management. Clients rely on Vivian and trust her guidance when it matters most.

Serving as an integral senior member of a law firm’s marketing department, Vivian takes pride in developing long-term relationships with clients, many of whom she has worked with for a minimum of five, 10 and more years. These partnerships have enabled Vivian to become a trusted advisor to many of the country’s top corporate law firms. While some media relations programs focus on immediate results, others depend on long-range planning and benefit from working with someone who fully knows and understands a firm’s culture, philosophies, history, and management style. That’s why Vivian’s enduring relationships with her clients allow her to manage effective media relations strategies that she adapts to fit each firm’s evolving needs.

Vivian is an editorial board member for Marketing The Law Firm, she serves as a local editor for Attorney at Law First Coast magazine, and is active with LMA International and LMA Southeast Region. She is a frequent speaker and published author of more than 60 articles on PR, marketing, crisis communications, and media relations topics.

Vivian appreciates staying on top of current events and daily business news, but prefers to take a lighter approach off-hours as an avid reader of fiction. A nurturer of relationships – whether with clients, staff, family or friends – she is loyal, trusted and sincere.

Vivian enjoys the relaxing seaside lifestyle of Jacksonville, Fla.; mastering culinary treats; traveling; and spending time with her high school sweetheart husband, family and friends. She also supports a charity that focuses on the needs of foster children, and she has led a support group for Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis patients and their families.
